+1, and the ones that do are always cheap plastic affairs, they are basically just for test ride purposes.1k bikes rarely come with any sort of decent pedals. If any at all!
- because most people buying bikes at this level are likely to be relatively experienced cyclists with their own favoured shoe/cleat system, and will want pedals to match - be they Look, Shimano, Campagnolo, Speedplay, Time, Mavic etc etc, So in most cases to supply pedals would be pointless.1k bikes rarely come with any sort of decent pedals. I know what you mean, and I've experienced this loads of times, but the fixed gear I've just bought from Evans was supplied with plastic flats, and lo and behold, the threads were loaded with greaseGet those pedals off ASAP and put some grease on the thread, shops never bother and they'll seize.

That must apply to all their bikes when out of stock and no delivery week is shown. Oh dear! I was just getting serious about ordering one too - must account for the discount prices as well.Email response from Canyon:
Unfortunately the Roadlite models are no longer available in the specified size. The models are completely sold out for the entire season. We do not currently have any exact information with regard to the launch of the 2013 Canyon models. We will not be able to give any accurate details on bike specifications, prices and delivery times until the official launch takes place in mid October. Initial information on the 2013 season will be available at the Eurobike 2012. The latest information and reports from the fair are available at. http://www.canyon.com/eurobike2012/ (soon)
All a matter of taste - IMHO nothing looks better than a matt black frame with black lettering, black groupset, wheels and finishing kit - dark grey or raw carbon looks very fine too. If you look at many of the 2013 bikes being announced you will see that the big brands have finally caught up with my refined taste tooI like a bit of colour to, black is so boring.
