Recommend a courier to carry a bike box please!

This is turning into a bit of a nightmare - most couriers won't carry a box 180 cms long. Anybody got any recommendations?

I've used direct courier solutions a couple of times. It's a price comparison site much as anything. Says max length is 1.7m though
1.8 seems a long, is it a tandem or contains complete unassembled bike? I don't think even the xtracycle bike is that long with front wheel off.

DPD delivered the last bike I ordered (from Wiggle). I've not measured the box, but it was a fully assembled* large framed bike.

*Bar the pedals and turning the bars.

Paisley freight are specialist couriers of bikes and delicate large parcels, but try interparcel as they will collect it and deliver and are probably cheaper too

it's normally about £13-14 for a full bike box and it's actually Parcelforce that do the delivery itself. I guess Senditnow are just some sort of bulk reseller of services. I've used them to collect about 30 packages now and never had a problem.

I have been offered a tandem fro free but i need it freighting from Norfolk to the midlands , the best price i have found is £30 from goparcelexpress , has anyone had any dealings with them or any others please ?
