Blackwell's. The music shop mail order department has gone downhill since the days it was run by @rvw, but they do still have a decent stock, and it's online these days.

(I assume you are after proper music...)

Off topic, but when did @rvw work at Blackwells?

On topic. HMV still has an online service doesn't it?

I ripped all my CD's to lossless FLAC files stored on a hard drive in my HTPC. I use Kodi as a front end, using an Arcam DAC connecting it via USB to my hifi. I've got all the cd's under a simple alphabetical artist menu system. It sounds excactly the same as CD player through the same DAC.

I get mine off of a certain online auction site called eBay. There's a seller on there based in Jersey (name eludes me temporarily) that does used books and CDs. they're very fussy about the quality of the items, and their customer service is stellar - when one CD failed to arrive they refunded without demur.
