Recommend a LBC near Yarmouth

Can any of you recommend a good bike shop in or around Yarmouth please. A friends Nephew is doing one of the London Paris rides and needs a bike. Usual thing big ideas and none of the gear . He is supposedly very fit, marathon runner, footballer, cricketer etc. and does not think riding a bike for 300 miles will be too hard, I have tried to tell him otherwise and suggested he gets a bike and some riding gear asap and get in some on bike training. I have recommended a local shop to me but would be easier if he went to a good local shop to him. He will need a fitting and help choosing the right bike and gear so the local Halfords are out of the question. having said that something on the lines of a Boardman Carbon would be good.

Norwich has a few shops but none of them are that great. Specialised Cycles is probably the pick of the bunch but it's not your average shop!

Pedal Revolution has a lot of stock (and choice) but the service can be dodgy. Streetlife cycles is best avoided in my experience!

Not used them myself but plenty of others here have. They have a good reputation.

Also they are 70 miles away from Yarmouth. If he can't find a decent shop in Naaaarwich then Elmy Cycles Ipswich is an excellent choice

Hi mate, much better thanks. I lost my cycling mojo for a while in the 2nd half of last year but got it back now.

I am planning on doing the Hampshire CC meet in June, the Dun run in July and if you organise any of those track sessions at the Herne velodrome this year will see if I can make one
