look at bike fit as well, i mucked about with loads of saddles untill i got my saddle height,setback and tilt set right.
i personally like the fizik saddles , well the boardman clones that come on their bikes but i use a spoon on the MTB and its ok but i find the position more ste onthe spoon as it less easy to move forward or backwards on the saddle to get on the rivit or slide back for powering up hills than on a flatter ,longer saddle.
