Recommend a tablet but NOT iPad or Kindle

My late best mate had a 7 inch Nexus, which was a nice device but I found it a bit small. I think that 9-10 inches probably IS the optimum size.

I got a cheap Acer 9" pad. It is Ok for web brousing but the selfie camera for video calls is POS, but at £89 it was still worfit.
