They are the ones I am using and thus far I find them to be both adequately stiff in the sole and comfortable to wear. They do seem to come up a bit big though. I got the equivalent of a size 11 as that is the trainer size I take and they felt a bit more roomy than my Mizzuno wave 9's. Thtas not a bad thing though as hopefully having a bit of room means I won't get hot foot

got a pair of Decathlon B'twin basic ones for £25 the other day. As ever with their stuff it's very impressive and feels better than the price suggests. Comfy, sufficiently stiff to put a bit of ommph in and you can walk in them without the bambi on ice feeling. They don't look anything special but for £25 who cares.

Amongst others I have a pair of Shimano M088 SPD's which I use on a couple of my bikes with Shimano M520 pedals.

They're great, comfy (they come in standard and wide fit), very robust, decent in wet weather & dry fairly quickly. I've used them during winter with a pair of overshoes and importantly I've never had any problems clipping in or out with them.

Got this setup aswell (M088 & M520) no problems.

A further update to the Exustar shoes I bought earlier in the thread.
After just a few rides one of the lace holes ripped, This was a manufacturing defect, The hole which had been punched through for the laces had missed the material on the underside of the suede so after a few rides the suede ripped.
I emailed Exustar Uk to let them know there was a problem with the shoes and received a reply almost instantly. I explained the problem and was asked to return them for an exchange or refund. I returned them but was contacted to tell me they didn't have another pair in my size in stock but did offer me a choice of other shoes or a refund.
Instead I put a little more money in and bought a pair of stelvios.
All throughout this I was dealing with James at Exustar. All emails were answered very quickly and were dealt with in a friendly professional manner. At no point did I get that dreaded online sales return feeling that you can get with a lot of retailers.
The shoes may not have turned out to be quite the bargain I first thought they were but the outcome was Excellent customer service and a happy customer. Because of the customer service I received I will be certain to buy from them again.
