Recommend me a sweet shop, preferably a 'bricks & mortar' business that does online sales rather than just a faceless warehouse.
I am particularly partial to:-
Sherbet Lemons
Aniseed Twists
Rhubarb & Custard
Thank you 😊
Never noticed that! I went to school in Moffat in the 70's, so I know this particular shop well. The Moffat toffee isn't actually like toffee at all, more like a boiled sweet, but well worth a taste. They also sell a wide range of old fashioned sweets which might be of interest to the OP..lol. Nice one. It even has ‘bricks & mortar‘ on the homepage.![]()
For sherbet lemons and rhubarb n custard I can recommend Betty's in Wheatland Lane, Wallasey.Recommend me a sweet shop, preferably a 'bricks & mortar' business that does online sales rather than just a faceless warehouse.

Stumbled across this place a few years ago - my wife had to drag me out kicking and screaming.
