Thanks for the reply effy but on checking the same shop's description of the 300 at the end of the spec it says under suggested use "weekend" so more confusion. What the hell does that mean? Can only be used for 2 days on the trot, at a push 3, never on a Tuesday?

"Weekend use" normally equates to light use, unsuitable for extended/repeated use.

As already said, you get what you pay for.

It's unusual to have someone seek a recommendation for equipment with no limit on cost ?.

Surely they can decide how much they spend when they see the options?
