I've not tried them personally but how about Schwalbe Marathon Racer, available in 30mm: http://www.schwalbe.com/gb/tour-reader/marathon-racer.html or Marathon Supreme http://www.schwalbe.com/gb/tour-reader/marathon-supreme.html which is available as a 28 or a 32mm. All less than 400g a piece (manufacturers data ;)).

Was thinking of these for my own bike to try and save a bit of weight

If you want high quality at low price then I'd suggest these:

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/vittoria-randonneur-ii-tyre/#tabCustReviews

I agree with all the reviews on the Wiggle website - they are exceptionally capable tryes.

I've used them for a few thousand miles in 700 x 28mm and 32mm on a touring bike. They have low rolling resistance (they have quite a narrow profile - tall rather than wide - so not too much rubber contacting the road), great road 'feel' over a largish pressure range, don't suffer much from punctures, steer very precisely and they feel robust so they're happy with heavy loading. They can't grip as well as a tyre with deep treads (= high rolling resistance) but they're not bad either. One point that I don't see mentioned much but it's important to me - the Randonneurs centre brilliantly on the rim so a very balanced tyre resulting in a completely smooth ride. Only downside - they're not easy to fit or remove as they're tight on the rim (which probably explains their well-balanced nature).

Out of curiosity, I changed over to Schwable Marathon Plus. Didn't take long to realise they clearly have higher rolling resistance and feel 'dead' at all pressures - not nice. And they've worn more than I would have expected. And they were even harder to fit than the Randonneurs. More expensive too.

I have used the Schwalbe Marathon Racer 30mm as mentioned by Rickshaw Phil, I ran them on my cross bike on all surfaces with zero punctures even managed a couple of KOM's with them, never ran them with a loaded bike, but I can't see that been a problem.

I've got a pair of Marathon Supreme folders on my tourer and they run well and smooth. The previous tyres were so difficult to get on and off that any puncture was a nightmare. I'd rather run a slightly greater risk of a puncture but an easy fix than worry about a puncture on the old wire-rimmed tyres. And, of course, not being worried about getting a puncture means they haven't punctured yet! I like them.
