I need a new pair of baggies, and have up to £40 to play with, what should I go for?

I don't mind mail order if I have to, as I'm pretty confident of sizing, but more importantly is that they have as good quality padding as I can get.

Cheers in advance to anyone who can help.

I have a pair of these: http://www.pedalon.co.uk/acatalog/endura_humvee_shorts_black.html and a pair of these
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Altura_Mayhem_Baggy_Shorts/5360036392/
which came free with a subscription to MBUK.

Both are good, the Humvees are possibly a bit smarter and heavier, with a great detachable undershort with coolmax pad. Good pockets and comfy on and off the bike

The Alturas are much lighter, and the undershorts aren't quite as tight, and has a thinner pad, the inner short legs are cut higher, so best for summer riding. The cut is baggier than the Humvees, but I haven't had a chance to wear them on a ride yet.

Mayhems got various good value reviews in What MTB.

I can personally testify that the arse of the Hummvees is up to being scraped along tarmac at 15mph too - not a scratch on them.
