I don’t mind the occasional flat at all takes me less than 5 mins to change a tube
It does always amaze me at the length people go to to to avoid getting flats it’s not that much of a hassle

Marathon plus are further than many on here will go to avoid flats.

But they are what I use, on both my hybrid and (now) on my road bike.

Well there are two firsts I've just heard. 'Racing' and 'Lively' when describing Marathons. :laugh:
'Schwalbe Marathon Racer' is the name designated by the maker. Not more BS then? :smile:

This is a Marathon Racer tyre, 1'5 by 26. Quite light for a 26 as its a folder , when the rear tyre died we used the old front as a spare tyre when touring on the tandem.

Went with the continental tours seem similar to the marathon's put a hundred miles on them this weekend no surprises quite smooth would say they do let you take a quicker corner the marathon’s seem a bit more wayward on corners especially in the wet I will see how the age
