As some of you know I am a keen tourer. I am also doing an Ironman so need to get in some long rides. I have a long weekend in Cornwall mid May. One option is to cycle from Winchester (home) for about 6-7 hrs and get picked up friends driving down. They will be on A303 so I was looking at the junction of the A303 and the A30. That makes 150k
I have a nice route from home to Salisbury. I then want an easy quiet and flat rote (haha) to the end point.
I know from experience that navigating is a massive time waster, so was looking at the A30. Any views? Any good alternatives. Happy to look at looping north or south to get a smoother route (hard I know!)
