I was right about that saddle
I've just got back from a lovely sunny lunch ride but unfortunately I witnessed a cyclist wearing head to toe White, Yellow and Pink Lycra.

I'm still in shock and not sure I can face the road again.

I was right about that saddle
Because i'm boring and ignorant, I thought I'd make light of some very garish kit a fellow cyclist was donning. Truth is, at this time of year, my mid-week rides are rarely shared by other cyclists in anything other than 50 shades of black or dayglo. I was genuinely taken back by the brightness of the kit and the fact the roads are very muddy and messy on the route taken, and the white yellow and pink kit will look pretty crappy after a few miles. Each to their own.

To counter this one on the way back from Lincoln today in the car we saw a chap in leggings and baggy shorts riding an MTB, my wife's comments were "what a stupid look that is" The wife, I hasten to add is not a cyclist. I must say I do agree with her, much safer that way.
