Been doing my daily commute now for last couple of months just started to take a recovery sis rapid and made my evening route much faster which is more hills just wanting to know what anyone else takes for recovery
As aforementioned, unless you're doing extreme mileage or extreme intensity for sustained periods, then a balanced diet and plenty of H2O is all you need.
porridge when I get to work( cant be bothered to get up earlier to eat at home). beer + proper dinner at night, did I mention beer? Although this training diet probably has something to do with my negative weight loss
If riding every day, mix your days with one commute at high intensity, followed by the next one or two low ones, until you are riding with zest in your legs again. It's often harder to ride at low intensity and to control the amount of effort you put down, but the next day you will feel much better.
