I cocked up today too. Just before I got to work after a pleasant incident free ride. Was approaching a quiet crossroads in Cambridge and a v. pretty girl cycled past- I may have been momentarily distracted for some reason as I failed to spot an oncoming car from my right which, although was going a little too fast, did stop to let me cross as I was already commited. I raised hand to say sorry and the guy was fine- didn't half feel like a fool though.
