The question should be why would you want them on a MTB?

wow, they look awesome.

Don't know what you'd achieve putting them on a MTB

Does it matter having disc or roller brakes?

If you have a bike with disc or roller brakes you will need one of the products from our 'Eextended'-series which have longer, stainless brackets that enable the lights to be fitted to cycles with these types of brakes.

Taken from there FAQ section.

Thanks, I missed that on their site. My idea is to have lighting during the day (without wasting batteries) because the lanes around here have the tree canopy meeting overhead and are always dark.

It does seem like a good idea. However, having seen them I wouldn't recommend them. The front light is near enough useless.

I would go for a normal lightset and recharable batteries. Perhaps a solar powered charger?
