Hi guys,

We are working on a new business idea at the moment, and was wondering if you can take 5 seconds to answer the poll here please?

Any comments on why you would/wouldn't rent out your bike would be helpful.

Thanks all!

Would you trust someone you probably don't know with yours?

I would and have done. But to an unknown? Not on your nelly.

Haha, to be fair you offered me a test ride on your Roubaix when I was looking at them 2 years ago and we'd not met then. Mind you we've only briefly been together outside East Croydon Station before the old bangers run.
I got the full Carbon Ultegra with hydro discs

There are a couple of companies doing this already. I did think of signing up my ‘lesser used’ bikes, but for all the hassle it did not seem to be worth it.

Renter damages bike, anything from a complete write off to comes back with snapped gear cables.

Bike is stolen whilst renter had it. Turns out they did not bother locking the bike up, or if they did they used an elastic band and a paper clip.

Renter does not return bike on time and is not answering calls or emails.

Tell me about your fast , hassle free same day pay out for the full value of replacement bike and / or parts.

I wouldn't even trust somebody I know with mine!
I do if I am asked, but only because I don't want to come across as mean
I think the OP hasn't got his own bike ... yet.
