I fitted a Cytronex kit to my Decathlon Network 700. All was well until I tried to use it on my return from holiday. The battery was total dead. I popped into the shop that sold to me. After a 10 minute chat, costing me £42.50, I was told I needed to book it in and will be charged at that rate for every 15mins of labour. A new battery for it will cost £500. I am a bit concerned that the cost of repair will exceed the cost of replacing the whole ebike kit.
So I would like to cost a replacement. Assuming the motor on the front wheel is okay, I need to buy the rest I.e. controller, rotation speed sensor, display and of course a battery. Compatibility is my concern. I need to buy bits that actually talk to each other!
