When I bought my Brompton on the C2W scheme, I went with the lights recommended to me by the shop.
The rear Cateye is fine.
However, the front light, which is secured by a strap, is forever coming loose (lots of potholes and dropped kerbs to cycle paths/road). I seem to have to resecure it every night and it can take several goes to get tight. This annoyingly always seems to be when it is pouring with rain
I am looking for a replacement front that is a bit more secure in this way but can still be rotated/removed for the fold.
The official Brompton one looks like it has a much more solid clip than the cable strap system of the CatEye - as
here: Brompton Light via Amazon/Simpson
Anyone here use this one and have any advice/comments?
I cycle in a well lit area at both ends of the commute so only need a 'Here I Am' light like this.
