I've found one, but did not come with instructions for fitting! Hopefully LBS will know how to do this

In simple terms the adjuster acts as a bit of outer cable that can expand and contract. You fit it expanded and when you pop it up to shorten it, it generates slack for the inner cable. With that in mind....

undo inner cable at caliper, fit inline adjuster at a suitable point. you might need to have a bit of outer cable either side of it, so potentially need to snip your outer cable (obviously dont snip though the inner cable as well - slide it out of the way) and you might want to shorten the outer by ~the length of the adjuster,depending on aesthetics and inner cable length. Then rethread the inner and reattach / adjust at the caliper.

Hopefully you have enough spare length of inner to snip off the crimp and re crimp when done, if not fit a new inner cable.

If that sounds a bit complicated, the yes LBS it!

You need to find a suitable place to install it (a length of straight cable run, ideally away from anything adjacent it can rub / knock against like the frame or other cables). Disassemble inner from outer cable, cut a section from the outer that approximates the effective length of the adjustor (paying attention to how much inner you have and how much the effective cable length will change when adjusted) then reassemble with the adjustor in place (at min setting) then set the brakes up as normal..
