Replcement Rim Suggestions!

Hi All, I need to replace a rim that is cracked around the spokes. This is my bike: http://www.bikes.com/en/bikes/whistler/2015 (Whistler 70)

I can't find any info on my current clincher rim (700C) for my 32mm tires. I'm looking to replace it with a rim that is "fast" on pavement and can handle well on dirt and gravel trails. I don't know much about rim profiles or rim technology, etc, so I'm looking for some suggestions on manufacturers of rims that perform well and aren't too costly. Also, any links to info on how to choose a rim would be helpful too! Thanks!

I recently built a dynamo wheel with one of their Exal LX17 rims. Double-eyeletted and with a wear-indicator. There are wider versions.

I think the OP is in Canada so he really needs help locally. He's posted previously and says the oe rims are Alex,

Maybe the best solution is for him to contact his local bike shop who I'm sure can help with a new rim or replacement wheel.

@kovacsa If shopping on line you just need the same rim width and a free hub that will accommodate whatever speed cassette you are running plus have the same disc fixing, six bolt or centre lock

Hey, Yeah, A local bike is an option too. I'm just hunting around online for different opinions. I'm only replacing the rim (and maybe spokes) as it's the only part that broken.

Unless you're doing the wheel building yourself you'll need a shop to do the work for you so maybe best to get the rim from there. If buying a rim on line and having it posted might be fraught with problems due to being damaged in transit. A rim is quite a fragile item.
