But there's more ... SAP and other systems.
Advance apologies for IT bods here but there aren't half some wnakers in the software development and implimentation business and the IT salesmen who sell this sh1t to corporations and tosser corporate buyers who fall for their sh1t.
:bravo: We've recently been SAP'd at work too. Big pile of cack.

I don't know whether it's specifically the way our company is implimenting it, but it's really slowing the way we work, it's stupid. Tomorrow I have training in the next wave of corporate inertia ... more brakes on progress.

Don't shout too loud. I've just got a weeks well paid freelance work 'cos a firm I do things for has started using SAP and needs extra effort in as a result.

I ran a desktop support function in a large Pharma manufacturing site for 3 years, they went through a site wide SAP implementation whilst I was there. They had a 20 strong implementation team and it took them about a year to do but they did it well.

I'm not sick, but I do feel like I've been beaten up and then chucked out of a high speed vehicle lol

That's what happens when you don't train a specific muscle group at the gym for ages and then try and go back to your old weights all at once.

Did it well by whose yardstick? The poor barstewards that had to use it?

Yup. It just goes to show how bad the systems were before the implementation lol... I had nothing to do with the project, my team just dealt with post implementation support and day to day stuff etc and the feedback was good.

Had SAP here for five years, been here before me, but it really is user unfriendly.

Cracked a tooth last week and knew I should have got in the dentist before weekend and now had excruciating toothache since Saturday

Nothing has made a difference

Too many than recommended 30/500 co-cocodamol,max strength Ibuprofen, oil of clover, some numbing gel for ulcers, lager, southern comfort, brandy and red wine

Now I'm sat here deciding do I slam my head against a door or just get a hammer on it

I feel your pain, I suffered for weeks with an abscess before overcoming my phobia of the dentist to get it treated.
One thing that did work - a bit - was to rinse with mouthwash, (which hurts at the time!) Then rub some of that colgate sensitive toothpaste right on the tooth. Worth a try?? Your best pain killer is alternating between paracetamol and ibuprofen.
Hope you get it seen to soon.

Cheers Sandra

I'm at the dentist this afternoon, but as ones side of my face looks like I'm sucking on a giant gob-stopper, I doubt he will do anything until the ABs have kicked in
