Ditch the football - nasty dangerous sport.

All my footie playing friends have had to have knee ops.

Bad advice - seriously bad. You need to rest at least one day a week. And at least one week in every year. Take a look at what the really top athletes are doing.

Hire a bike and go to Key West.

I will be hiring a bike Jimbo, but only to tootle off to the beach:smile: Suppose I could venture further, but I am imaging the bike will be a pile of crap, or maybe one of those with two seats side by side and a canopy over. Nice.

Not done much for last couple of weeks on the bike, getting stuff done before hols, and so not managed daily commute either.

Went out Tuesday night after work for a 2 hr blast, cos I'm racing tonight and thought I'd better do somethin, and felt really good, must be all that resting!

I guess tho I will be crossing the line from resting to being a lazy, greedy b**tard on holiday. Just entered Tour of Peak sportive in October to give me something to aim for when I'm back in the saddle.
