Could not be happier (yet also feeling crap due to lack of sleep) but I checked online and I am into Lancaster uni! Going to see what grades I got later when I go into the sixth form.

Good luck to all the rest of you collecting results, and remember it isn't all as bad as the news makes it out to be if you don't quite make it.

Great news Montage, congratulations. Lancaster is a nice place, and a Uni with a good reputation.

cycling, with a bit of geography in between.
Might be a fair few who didnt get in.....news this morning said up to 44% of applicants (thats before clearing though).

Off to collect the results soon, then visit the physio (crap that is going to hurt after just 3 hours sleep)

Well done!:bravo: I've been to Lancaster a couple of times, to Cyclefest, and it seemed nice - although the best bit for me was that you could ride off road on a decent railway path for a few miles and end up at the seaside in Morecambe!

Alas, I fear the 'jug of tea for 99p' stall in Morecambe is no more, tidied away when they did up the Grand hotel.

Some nice cycling round there.

You will do some work, though, won't you.... ;)

Absolutely. I flunked my A's, badly, and after just 12 years in a deadend job, and 10 years at uni as a mature student, I now have 3 degrees, a not competed PhD, and I'm a part time journalist and binman....

Um... Maybe that's not a good example...

;)

But seriously, Montage is right. One very good thing about the age we live in is that your future doesn't have to set in stone on the basis of one set of results. There's always the opportunity to do things later, change direction and so on.
