I started cycling again after a 40 year gap, and wish I had restarted even sooner.

I picked up a Giant Revolt a few years ago with good intentions.
The bike did not do much at all ( and therefore stayed in good nick ).
I went out with the family on Sunday for a nice three hour trek, hurt a bit on Monday but enjoyed the ride and found myself in the saddle again last night for an hour. Would have been longer but I was concerned the battery indicator in the freshly charged front light was showing low power and I did not want to be in the unlit paths without light.
Going to sort out better lights now.
