Reversing battery polarity.

If I put the battery in my lights the wrong way round, reversing the polarity, would it make the light come out backwards, or would it make daylight darker?

I don't want to just try it, in case in causes a blip in the space time continuum.

That's exactly what used to happen when we all used Never Ready batteries, due to a manufacturing fault not picked up till 1632. Galileo's "Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems" was written about it at the time.

That's a very important question, as the photons will flow into the light, if in the front the effect will be like having a headwind, whereas in the back it will be like having a tailwind.

Given that the electrons are negatively charged, and so are attracted to the positive end of a battery and repelled by the negative end, would you be reversing the flow or just correcting?

I think the danger to space time continuum only arises, if you connect the flux capacitor as part of the circuit.
