Revolution tune up workstand

Has anyone got a revolution tune up mini workstand? It supports the bike by its seat/chain stays therefore lifting the rear wheel off the ground. I was looking forward to use it for routine maintenance but it does not work on my road bike (specialized allez with fulcrum wheels)

My problem is, when I put my road bike on it, the end of the hooks touch the wheel's spokes and that stops the wheel turning making any kind of adjustment impossible. The hooks are too long plus the stays are curved and very close to the spokes.

Cant see how unless you haven't placed it correctly?
Unless you can hacksaw a bit off or mangle it in some other way to fit, i suggest send it back and get a proper work stand.

I have a couple of the predecessor stands (same idea) and you can squeeze the hooks so that the bike stays sit slightly further up and the hooks don't catch the spokes.

There is only half inch gap between the spokes and the left rear stays.
It was assembled and placed correctly. The stand allows some height adjustment which I tried all. I'll contact them and try to return it.
