Internal rust could be a problem on an old frameI have been given this bike by a friend. It belong to his brother who died and has been sitting in a shed for 6 or 7 years. Picture is off my crap phone but its in pretty shocking condition except for the frame.
Is it worth doin up or just scrap it? I have no idea how much reconditioning it would cost as I am new to cycling.

best of luck in gwtting saddle stem outQuill stem the handlebar attachment? Thats fine. Seat post is jammed at the moment but it is starting to move slowly. I was gonna do this in my spare room but I think I'll take it to my step brothers workshop for a week until its stripped and I know whats what.
