Rhubarb Crumble

Picked some rhubarb this afternoon.
So I made a Rhubarb Crumble.
I put it on the worktop to cool.

That smells ... Tasty

 

What! It's nearly as good as Marmite .

Er, I think 'The Lad' has found it (he also likes Marmite :?

 

Slow down, Yorkshireman! Save some for me, otherwise you'll have to go and pick some more!
Mind you, gooseberry crumble is just as good; they're both bloody delicious!
Hope you've got plenty of custard!

That looks tasty Yorkie - i always have mine with lashings of hot custard as well. Yummy.

 

It was indeed very Yummy .

 

Now yer making me feel hungry, just waiting for the wife to return from the allotment with some rhubarb and gooseberry to make a crumble tonight....

In fact, I'll google a recipe for both rhubarb and gooseberry crumbles and have a go myself later this week!

 

Not even a few crumbs and juice.

 

Picked some rhubarb myself earlier - Mrs B and the offspring will make a crumble whilst I'm at work, and we'll devour it with custard when I get in. Happy days!

(I suggested it as a school hols activity for purely selfish reasons, and they went for it - suckers!)
