Well looks as if my Merida is a 54 (ML) I tried the L and the shop keeper said I was 100% a M/L he asked me loads of things while on the bike, he had to order the ML in so wasn’t like he was trying to palm me off to clear his stock.

I’m around 6ft tall, inner leg is 34.5”.

That’s the Merida geometry so as long as the Ribbles not any smaller it should be ok?

I think I have the correct Ribble frame chart?

My main worry would be the wheel base, End of my shoe is very close to wheel on my Merida, I don’t have any overlap but it’s close.

The chainstay is longer on the Ribble, but overall wheelbase is shorter on one of these charts.

The seat tube and top tube seem fine.

centre of crank to top of seat tube outlet 22" OR 56cm
centre to centre top tube 21 3/4" or 55cm
chain stays 16 1/2" or 42cm
centre of bottom bracket to floor 10 1/2" or 27.3 cm
head tube length 130cm
fork length from centre of q/r to base of headset cup 14 1/2" or 37cm
wheelbase centre of q/r to q/r 39 1/2" or 1002cm
floor to top side of top tube 31" or 79cm
floor to top of fork 34 3/4" or 88cm

I'd already cracked a bone
bottle open (nothing to do with having to parent/manage the 7 and 25 month olds solo all day) in anticipation for this. Mazel Tov

haha I had mine solo all days as well, 4yr old has chickenpox, not a bad thing as she starts school in September so we have that illness knocked on the head.
