I've previously listed and sold this on ebay, but after a month of procrastinating the buyer eventually decided he couldn't collect it and cancelled.
Anyway, I've now reached an age where I prefer a more upright riding position and speed is less of a priority, so here we are. I've owned this from new and it has been only lightly used during that time as I'm something of a fair weather cyclist. I've not used it at all for the last two years, where it has remained in the shed (hence the sale). If memory serves, it was an Extra Small frame (might have been small), but, at 5' 4" it fitted me perfectly.
I had it specced with a full Campagnolo Centaur groupset (including brake levers and shifters, cranks, cassette etc.) and it's served me well for about 12 years or so now. It's a 2x10 compact chainset with 53/39 chain wheels and 12-23 cassette. Wheels are also Campagnolo - Khamsin. Tyres are almost new Specialized 25mm that have no more than 100 miles on them and finishing kit is Deda or Ribble branded. The bike itself has probably done about 2000 miles at the very most in the time I've had it. It's been well looked after and is in excellent condition, though I'm sure there may be some minor marks if you look close enough. I suspect a bike with this kind of spec and quality would cost north of £2k these days.
As a 'Sportive' model it is designed to be comfortable over longer rides, though is still exceptionally light and responsive too. I am including the rather nice Selle Italia CX saddle shown. I can also throw in the pump shown in the photos and have 2-3 unused inner tubes that are now surplus which I'll include. Pedals are not included, though I've some decent SPD and flats we can negotiate on if needed. The cycle computer shown is not included.
The bike is collection only. I am located in Chester, which is easily accessible from the M6/M56/M53 by car and is only 20 mins from Crewe by train, which is well connected to more or less everywhere. I'd be happy to pick up the buyer from Chester railway station. I can also deliver up to 50-60 miles from Chester for petrol money if required.
