Richmond Park: Beware of stags

Apparently 3 cyclists have suffered from stags this autumn. I do not know the circumstances but I did see one fellow with 3 three significant facial scars today.

Be careful out there.

Saw a stag by the star and garter hill entrance the other day , on his own so presumably the other deer try and steer clear of the stags as well.

Many many years ago I was walking in Richmond park with a French GF when we spotted a lone stag. She came out with something I never allowed her to forget:

"Aaah, look at 'im, ze poor one - 'e 'as not got a 'erd!"
