Ribble? I was expecting an actual riddle there. I'm not very good at them anyway so not sure why I wanted to see it!

No problem, rubbish at riddles anyway. Sorry can't comment on them myself. They do look great though. See a few about so can't be bad.

Highs: great prices and their own brand bikes are well regarded.
Lows: reports of poor customer service.
Disclaimer: I've never used them.

As already said, their Ribble winter bike is very highly regarded, and the amount you see on the roads bears this out. How tall are you as I'm currently selling a Ribble 7005 framed bike?

Hi smokey, I'm 6 foot 2, 32 inch leg, 42 chest. I think I should be looking at a 58cm frame, does that sound right? Not what the boy at halfords said who thinks a 53cm frame is big enough!

I have a Ribble.
Can't praise them enough for the pre-order assistance-and am well pleased with the bike. Don't know about after-care as nothing has gone wrong.
The only word of warning/advice is that (unless you live close enough) you can't sit on any model to try it whereas you can with other bikes. I live 30 miles away so was able to go and see them 'in the flesh'.

You can view the sizings and geometries of the Ribble frame HERE

I'd completely ignore what Halfords told you. I wouldn't recommend the size you do need as I'm not qualified, but I can say at 6' 2" do not buy a 53 :ninja:

The one I'm selling is a 62 frame with 175mm cranks. I'm 6'5" with a 35 inside leg, and still have a high seatpost as you can see in the pic. Anyway here's the bike I'm selling if you're interested

Yeah, the options are scary on the website plus I dont know what the bike will look like but I can get a decent spec bike with 105's for about 750 and from my research the same elsewhere would be over a grand!

What gearing does your bike have smokey?
