Ride from Swindon to Aldbourne?

Hi cyclists
Any tips on a scenic route from Swindon to Aldbourne and back? I'd prefer traffic free but not a bumpy track... Thanks for your suggestions...

There is no way to avoid going up a reasonable climb to get out of Swindon as you need to ride over the M4, best to avoid the A346.
If I cycle to Aldbourne, there are basically two options,
1) via Day House Lane(which is off Marlborough Road just after Coate Water), then through Liddington
2) via Broome Manor Lane(which is also off Marlborough Road) then through Chisledon and Ogbourne St. George.
Option 2 can be altered by going via Wroughton to Chiseldon.
