I used to walk to work past a secondhand car place called Honest Sam's, which was owned by a bloke called John.

Well worth emailing and contacting a few clubs if you are opening on Sunday's. We had a new cyclist's cafe open in my local village in the Autumn, and word got spread via the web and through clubs. You've got facebook already, try some tweets too. The cafe near me has got very popular, and now has a Cycling Club and weekend rides from it.

'The Jolly Farmer' - my li'l croquette (well, you were then!) That was a good ride.

Spencer marks sausages. Here's a pic of Mike e and MacB being served up a portion.
Great map - but it's easy to see how the confusion set in. As for Manjit - he owes us all!

'That' ride - ah memories...

Do it in the first week of June please!

Mon pote, the whole ride was 'a bit slow and shaky!' Sig got embraced by a wasp that bit off more than it could chew,we raided Café Nero in Chiswick, the whole idea was to criss-cross the river a few times and it was the inaugural ride raffle - the Hampton Court Riverside Ride being the second - accompanied by a lovely postcard each, from Mistral Mick.
Wonder how Alina is? And the 'handbag', of course. (Ultra-fast track racer by now.)

Hello cookhamcafe, welcome to CC.

I've had a couple of reports that your thread is advertising - something we usually don't allow on CC - and whilst I agree, I can also see there may be some benefit to CC'ers riding in your area who might want a friendly Cafe stop so I'm going to let the thread stay. Presumably they'll be well fed and well looked after? ;)

I would ask that you restrict chat about your Cafe to this thread only though please, and don't bump the thread just to promote it.

Thanks,
Shaun
