I run the cafe in Cookham and under pressure from my brother in law, User aka User1314, I've been persuaded to make the cafe available for Sunday rides !! Seriously, as an ex-rider, it would be a privilege to open up especially for rides. A bit about us : fair trade Brazilian coffee, bacon and Cumberland sausage sandwiches a speciality plus delicious cakes, brownies. Jacket potatoes, handmade burgers, twice fried chips...we serve beers and wines too.check us out on www.facebook.com/StationHillCafeCookham. Safe off road area at rear for parking bikes. Seating inside for 40. Any tips on how to get the word out to rides would be appreciated.

Hi mate, i can see the Slough arm of CC popping in for a cuppa, as long as you give us a CC discount or loyalty scheme ;)

I ride up through Cookham on some of my training rides,so will pop in on sunday and say hello

No worries, we'll look after you  we are closed on Sundays though, we'd open up especially for rides. Come check us out anytime we are open though - we are by the station open 730-4pm M-F, 830-330pm Saturday.

Apologies for the blatant advertising but we are a very friendly cafe looking to attract riders. We are usually closed on Sundays but will open up especially for groups and we are open Mon- Sat until 4pm. Brazilian coffee, Cumberland sausages and bacon sandwiches, burgers, twice fried chips, cakes even beers and wine. Friends of User (User1314) who recommended this site

My neck of the woods, but because never open on Sunday I have never used it. A few miles north of Maidenhead just by Cookham station SL6 9BT

We usually stop at the far end of the high street, by the war memorial. All this time and i never knew Cookham had a train station!

Riding a folding bike far too much of the time...
I can recommend the coffee and food but sadly not opening Sunday could mean missing a fair amount of local cycle related trade.

You don't think the clue is in the name?

It could be a clue, but that is all it is, I don't want to guess where the place is, I want the details. Cookham is quite big town, because a place is called Station Hill cafe, it doesn't mean its in Station Hill, I don't know Cookham all that well, so to ask for every little bit of information to help me find somewhere is not unreasnable. If was advertising my business, I would want everyone to know, the address, the postcode, contact telephone number, website, and email. I don't want anyone to have an excuse not to be able to find my business. I was trying to help the OP, by engaging them in a bit banter, it does not seem to have worked.

Easy to miss the joys of Cookham as you either head up Winter Hill or down to Maidenhead. There's a great greasy spoon just by Borne End station, which again doesn't open Sunday (infact closes all weekend IIRC)
