Figured anything that encourages kids to have any sort of light on their bike at night wasn't a bad idea

This has to be who they're aimed at, the ones who normally go without lights of any type

These lights would be supplementary to and in addition to my usual lights, fact fans.

This Rainbow Racer transforms your bike by clipping the strand to the wheel, switch on and watch it cycle through 25 different colour patterns. The racer is designed from ages 5 years+ and requires home assembly.

Two 1.5 metre lengths and a controller wit constant and variable flashing

Very suitable for illuminating your bike's flag at night.
Says £14-97 here (don't know about delivery though).

YIPEEEEEE.....Christmas Lights..... (cue cries of "yes and a fairy on top")

I can almost guarantee that even if you had these lights on the bike you would still get SMIDSY's.

Actually if you overdo it you might get SMICSBOY (Sorry Mate I Couldn't See Because Of You!!)xx(

Possibly Magna. I reckon my front and rear lights are enough to keep me safe from all but the most stupid driver but the lights in the links above:

1/

Offer sideways illumination and

2/

Are funky!

Kaleidospoke vs Rainbowracer

Played with both, i know the kaleidospoke costs a little more at £19.99, but if you like wicked patterns and like to input you own wording, Kaleiospoke win hands down.

check it out.

Hi

Bought a kaleidospoke last week and came through the post at weekend. Is excellant! Went out with to on my bike over the weekend and sure kids will love it at Xmas. I compared it with the other on market and this one looked a lot better as can put text in,l though worried about what they will write!!

Hope this helps

Has anyone thought about installing a couple of angle grinders on each side of your bike? Would make a nice sparky light show when going down between two vehicles or if someone gets too close.
