I'd recommend a dry rub down with a cloth, to get the excess moisture off and then a wet lube in the winter....i've never had any issues with a rusty chain if you keep it well lubed.

no, I think people are telling you to use the right kind of lube, gt85 will strip the oil, so you need to then lube once it is dry.

As others have said, a wet lube for the winter, dry for the summer.

I only use GT85 for the case described on my first post. but that is not my choice of lube
