Riding the Leeds Liverpool canal - In One Day?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever done it? For the last couple of weeks I have been toying with doing liverpool to leeds in one day..Maybe next summer when the days are longest and more chance of reliable weather?

Is it possible? I did read that some guy did it there and back in 22 hours, which is pretty amazing really.

you will find boats are better for travelling canals; but bicycles for the canal towpath.

I met a couple on the canal in May (may have been June - I know there was no football anyway) who'd left Libpwl at 6am and aimed to be in Leeds by 9pm. I saw them in Rishton so they'd done a fair chunk but had a fair whack still to do. It was a very windy day and they were heading into the wind as well and I have to admit, I did not envy them one little bit.
