Hi Steveindenmark.......i never had any problems with snorers ( too knackered i suppose ) but on a couple of occasions i was woken up at about 5 am or so by the rustling of plastic bags as one or two early risers packed their rucksacks . Further along the chemin ,as people were getting weary ( including me ) there were less early risers . We did rough sleep once ( in a town centre bandstand ) but of course a tent would have been the answer .

Ohhhh.... Pat "5mph" if only........ .....i have had several mini adventures in my life but, do not have the way with all or discipline to keep records or remember to take photos ..:banghead: , so i don't think a ride report is on the cards ...sorry :shy: . Now.....if my wife was coming with me we would have more photos than you could " shake a stick at " ( whatever that means ) ,but she thinks her bike is just for nipping down to the January sales .
Hello
Let us know when you return to the UK and how well it went. I am also aching to travel the Way of Saint James for years. Have you considered the coastal route of the WofSJames? I know the peak of tourists on/off road is July/August so your choice of month seems like a wise one.
Cheers:-))
