I do 16 miles each working day as my commute which takes me a couple of minutes under 30. I was wondering whether that actually constitutes adequate mileage to combine it with training effective enough to eventually see noticeable results, e.g. could I go from a typical average of 17 mph to 20 just by adding intervals to my commute?
