Before this thread follows the usual dive in to a bun fight, didn't Carrie Fisher have mental health problems at some point, and was an advocate for highlighting such problems, so the term 'crackers' is a poor choice of words.

Start a new thread in the politics forum then rather than posting in one that has RIP in the title, i.e. Giving condolences

Of course I didn't know her but it's still sad that she's died at an early age. I liked her stuff and liked what I'd seen of her

Do you think she's crackers as she had bipolar disorder ? Or is that your perception of anyone with mental illness?

I've just read her obit. in the TImes and she came across as a lot of fun. I like her quote...."With age comes wisdom, and a whole bunch of other bad sh*t".

Her career and life were far from sparse. Don't judge other people's appreciation of her contribution, wit and turmoil based on the fact that someone gave you the Star Wars box set one Christmas and that's all you know.
