RIP Dusty Hill

Just read on another forum that Dusty Hill of ZZ Top has died.
Their music was not my cup of tea but always sad when another one bites the dust.

Died in his sleep. Aged 72. No reason given yet.

Sad news indeed. Apparently he suffered a hip injury a few weeks ago which caused the band to cancel dates.
Cousin Hank will also be saddened to hear the news too, another one of my favourites.

Everyone remembers them from the Eliminator days and videos of the 80's but they'd been around a fair while by then.They also had beards before beards were cool.

Formed in 1969 and have never changed a member of the band in all that time. Which I think are the only band that have for that long
Personally I think all the albums that were released before Eliminator are far superior, especially Rio Grande Mud and Tres Hombres.

And I think everyone knows that the member in the band without a beard... is drummer, Frank Beard.
