Oh no.

I had the great privilege of meeting her in the early 90s on a few occasions in connection with to how to move forward rape investigations and victim care. She was incredibly brave, humble and kind. She is responsible for so many different ways that rape victims, both male and female are now dealt with.

Such a very sad loss.

I met her father in the early 90s, although I wouldn't have known who he was unless he had told me.

I was with a couple of chums and we thought it odd he all but introduced himself as the Ealing vicarage rape vicar.

He seemed to be troubled by how to reconcile his religious beliefs with his parental desire for revenge, and also by being unable to protect his daughter during the incident.

Given the subject matter, perhaps the hope is a thread in cafe stands a chance of getting past its first page before being locked.

It is to my great shame that I was entirely unaware of her until this evening.

I need to learn more of her work and what still needs doing in relation to these vile crimes and support of the victims.

Jill talked about that at a conference i was at. It was one of the reasons she decided to waive her anonimity
