Some people hold ridiculous views, when a brave comedienne states those views aloud it is an opportunity to examine those views. Joan Rivers was obnoxious because of the mirror quality of what she said and she was a brilliant observer of those unspoken secrets

Just read this in the paper. She wasn't a comedienne that I particularly liked TBH. At least she didn't have a long drawn out death, which is a mercy for her family.

I used to think she was pretty funny when she hosted that chat show with Peter Cook as the permanent guest, although I disapproved of her trying to out Kenneth Williams live on air. Bad timing with that rant. Maybe she should have buttoned her lip for once.
