Tina Turner has died.
She had a rough start to life but came through adversity to achieve solo success.
What a talented lady performing well into her 70s.

Very sad news indeed. That's two good ones gone in a matter of weeks, the other one was Paul O'Grady.

Well worth reprising her biopic with Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburn. 'What's love got to do with it'.
Don't know if this opening scene is factual or not but I can imagine it is. Tina or Anna Mae as a very young child taking over the local church choir in her own style:

I am pleased she found true happiness in her later years. She really was a true superstar. I like how she totally disassociated herself with her persona on stage. RIP
