[ OK, it's a health issue primarily about commuting, I'm really not sure which of the two forums is more appropriate ]
It was in the news last summer but I must have missed it at the time: "according to a study", cyclists in cities are, apparently, inhaling about 4 to 5 times as many Dangerous Nanoparticles(sic) as car passengers

The Times gloated about it

Anyone got any particular thoughts on this, or know of subsequent research? It sounds like the workarounds are "don't sprint when sucking on an exhaust" and/or "choose quieter routes"
