Rivets for sadles

Any one know best place to buy copper rivets for brooks saddles, they seem a bit expensive from brooks ,
Sort of remember some one telling me a slightly larger copper rivet could be used and they where very cheap?

I had a C17 when they first came out (now have 3). One if the issues was the rivets unscrewed and fell off. I contacted them and they were very decent about it. They sent a fistful of spares and advised on using loktite or similar. None of the other saddles have been an issue.

They are good eggs at Brooks.

How can rivets unscrew? The 3 Brooks I have all have rivets and none have the 'unscrewing' function, but I admit that they are from the seventies.

The pretty stainless steel or alloy rivets (Brooks’ word not mine) on C15s and C17s are screwed together. Boltish rather than rivetish in my eyes, but there you are.
