A couple of weeks ago I cycled past a red stop sign, (by Bartley Green reservoir, on the outskirts of Birmingham) thinking I could squeeze past road works. Round the next corner a blundered into a location shoot for 'Doctors'. I hesitated, but the director waved me through. I'm not going to appear in the episode, as they waited until I had passed before they called 'Action!'

lets give em credit... that is quite funny what they did
. I would have done a blog and had a trainee take a pic of each motorist's face as they read the last sign!

I came across a road closed sign near Wrenbury during a 70 miler in the back end of May, I ignored it as usual and kept going
It turned out that one of the canal bridges between Wrenbury and Ravensmoor was being reconstructed and was closed to traffic. I went over as the work was in the final stages and passable. The only obstacle was a temporary line of fence with a gap big enough to squeeze through. I stopped to chat to the one guy who was still there and told me what was happening with the bridge. He didn't seem to mind me ignoring all of those signs and crossing the closed bridge at all!
